To squeeze an extra buck out of The Winter Olympics, the IOC sells t-shirts celebrating Hitler's 1936 Nazi Olympics.

Thank you for this find @Impertinenzija.
@randahl @Impertinenzija Just noticed the msn link doesn't show the referring image, so added the link to the original as well:

There will be another Nazi Olympics in 2028.

@randahl this can't be real - can it? @Impertinenzija
@mkoek the story is from DW. They are credible.

@svavar
I find it more likely that Trump will be impeached by then.

@Impertinenzija@randahl @mkoek Fanatics International haven't pulled the motive from their shop, yet (But they've erased the artist's signature, supposedly one Franz Theodor Würbel, an Austrian living in Berlin. He did postcards and the motive matches his style.): https://shop.olympics.com/de/olympic-games/mens-natural-1936-berlin-games-olympic-heritage-t-shirt/t-10259387+p-0222349001530+z-7-4279097087
Here's a hi res preview on Alamy, clearly depicting the signature: https://www.alamy.de/olympische-sommerspiele-1936-sport-poster-franz-wurbel-kunstler-image437858365.html

@ImpertinenzijaTrump isn't the only Nazi in America and will be replaced by another.

@Impertinenzija @randahl isn't that clearly a Nazi image though? The horses are reminiscent of the ones outside Hitler's chancellery: https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/found-two-horses-that-stood-outside-hitler-s-chacellery

@mkoek @randahl Nope, that's a stylization of the Brandenburg Gate, the angel lady's laurel wreath on a stick has an iron cross at it's core and an eagle sitting on top (that's Prussian, as Nazis liked to see themselves as Prussia's successors). But the artist clearly clipped the angel lady's huge wings: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brandenburger_Tor#/media/Datei:Brandenburg_Gate_Quadriga_at_Night.jpg
But the gilded bloke in the background is clearly and purposefully inspired by heroic muscle god Nazi style the way Breker and Riefenstahl did it.

@Impertinenzija @randahl A good reminder for me that I should visit Berlin again. I was last there in 1990! I was 17 and wanted to see with my own eyes that the wall was opened.

@mkoek @randahl That's so awesome. I was just 14 at the time and I was so happy for them. You might remember the Brandenburg Gate (just in case you have seen it) differently, because they de-prussified it in 1958 and then it was re-prussified again, so the laurel got its iron cross and its crowned eagle back (I just learned that today, when I was browsing the gallery I showed you). ^^

@Impertinenzija @randahl I did see it but I'm a little hazy on the details. 35 years do things to your memory.
