@donelias That's the first time I've seen "amigues". Is that a gender-neutral way of saying "friends"?

Amigos: masculine for "friends"
Amigas: femenine for "friends"

Amigues: gender-neutral for "friends"

Formally we are thought in school that masculine plural includes both genders, so a group of female friends is referred as "amigas" but becomes "amigos" with just one male guy.

Because Spanish (and other languages) language has gender for everything, even chairs or clothes, this way of gender-neutral faces resistance from conservative people, which is nice.
