We’re keeping our drinking water safe. 💧

From today, EU countries must monitor PFAS levels in drinking water. PFAS are long-lasting chemicals that can be harmful, if levels are too high.

If that happens authorities must act and inform people until the water is safe again.

Because everyone deserves access to safe drinking water.

@EUCommission Microplastics should also be monitored, there were some alarming studies regarding plastic bottled water and negative effect to long term health.

PFAS are in every garment through fabric finishing. They migrate through our skins. When will they be proscribed as in food containers?

And what happens if they do not... In NL there are still factories draining PFAS into the rivers from which drinking water is taken..
