He records them and shares it with the world.
What do people sound like when reporting their neighbors, coworkers, students? Are they confident they are doing a righteous good thing?
Witness the banality of evil in these sheepish suburban voices.
@futurebird
This is how authoritarian states work. You get one neighbor to call the state about another neighbor. Welcome to the United States of Russia and North Korea. -
That fwawking woman is evil to her asshole. Monster.
And she handles young children.
Great nation ya got here.@GGMcBG
I think the term "shithole" is more appropriate these days. -

@futurebird this was so absurd and lacking self awareness on her part that it was almost laughable to watch. truly grueling stuff
-
@FediThing @futurebird It is precisely about _not_ thinking.
If you dump all inarticulate, inchoate blame for the "big fuzzy cloud of badness" in your life on someone you can other(v, t)… then you _don't_ have to think about the actual causes or the fact that the solutions to those problems might be hard and involve complex socio-economic changes.
@ersatzmaus @FediThing @futurebird Complex socio-economic changes, or even worse, having to put in the effort of being a better person.

@futurebird That Karen sounds like Nextdoor.com personified.
-
@futurebird
The people who spread hate really don't like to hear their own words read back to them. How ironic is that?That woman has no business being a teacher or being anywhere near a school for that matter.
@BluesHarp @futurebird She's the same kind of person who makes excuses for why stupid apes like her should be able to beat kids half to death despite copious studies that show such behavior does little to nothing to curb bad behavior and everything to drive future bad behavior. Most right wingers shouldn't be allowed around kids IMO. They just aren't fit.
-
Adults turning on each other is one thing, adults (esp those in positions of trust) turning on children, is dispicable and cruel.
@zleap @futurebird Cons always go after kids. They're basically just sick and cowardly effing animals that will go after the smallest and weakest to feel better about their own worthlessness.

@futurebird @Su_G
The sarcasm was very slight, he just repeated her words, she knew it was terrible. It is terrible@HeatherMJ @futurebird @Su_G
She particularly didn't like him saying that she didn't sound happy to hear that the people were there legally. Which was not only true, but also putting it mildly. If anything, she sounded slightly disappointed. -
This looks AI af.
@kitkat_blue @futurebird that sounds like something AI would say.

@futurebird You can bet this find upstanding piece of shit expresses her racism in other ways too. You'd almost certainly find kids of color get worse grades and more reported problems in her class.
This is the CORE of racism. Some sick evil ADULT bullying 5yr olds. Making it clear to them they are hated, that the system will destroy them, that they shouldn't even bother competing because some scum will always have their finger on the scale. So fucking sick and evil.

hello. fire-able offense, yes?? -

Not really fair to call them animals, rather unfair to the animal kingdom, which in many cases could teach humans a lot.

Horrifying, horrifying
It's so difficult to understand what is driving someone like this. How was it harming her life or anyone's life that the child's parents were in the same country as her?
@FediThing @futurebird an utter lack of empathy

Most of my sympathy goes to the kid & parents. If the teacher reports to a real hotline, at best, that family has a very unnessicary amount of explaining to do. At worse, their taken from their home.But I have some sympathy for the teacher who has been influenced enough to inflict either on the family. Convinced to shed her sympathy. But to be clear, I want, and believe, she can regain that sympathy. But might not if she is singled out like this. And prob double down.
-
@futurebird you're like, making out that I'm, this, like, horrible person.
*fucking crickets*
@Iwillyeah @futurebird “No. I’m just noting down the facts. The ‘horrible person’ part was what you took from those facts. Maybe there is a functioning conscience in there. You should pay more attention to that.”

-
@FediThing @futurebird Failed at life? Feeling unsuccessful or unappreciated? Try racism!
@ersatzmaus @FediThing @futurebird
This. It is the explanation.These people have two things in common as i see it:
1: A pathetically miniscule world view that doesn't extend beyond their tiny back yards, which breeds selfishness and chauvanism.
2: No concept of Gods infinite love; his complete inability to see superficial things that might make us look different, let alone to pick one arbitrary attribute to base his love for us on. What kind of God would be such a prick? Not mine. -

I'd be more interested if he asked "Now we need to be sure. Cause this is tax payer money that goes into this. But also, this could mean a difficult time for this family if you are wrong. Are you confident you want to place this report?" I wonder if the actual hotlines include anything like this. That ask the reporting party to consider the reported.
