This fight does not follow international borders. It's a global fascist network, they are coordinating with each other, and the resistance to it must also be global and coordinated.
@alexwild Here in Australia it's pertinent to note that the official "left" (ie centre-right) parties are in on it, witness our "Labor" party continuing the 30-year policy of brutal imprisonment and exile of asylum seekers and "illegal " arrivals

Dear Europe,
I know you're having a tremendous time yelling at Americans, and fair enough for that, but get your houses in order because what happened in the United States is being orchestrated in your countries, and it may prevail as long as you let this sort of thing grow.
@alexwild In Sweden is affecting everyone.
In Europe it is affecting everyone
In the UK is the same soon will find out if our life will change forever
I'm talking about the new rules in emigration in the UK
6 million people living with legacy documents in the UK are in trouble
And don't even try to get the British Citizenship that is out of the question -
@geoffl Nah. You're shouting down Americans because you think you're smarter. And yet the UK was the first to fall, with Brexit. I have no real interest in discussing any of this with you, I just thought it would be good to remind anyone who thinks their shit doesn't stink that, in fact, it does. I haven't seen anyone else misunderstanding not just the US, but their own country. Congratulations. Now catch a mute.
@alexwild@spiegelmama@infosec.exchange You lot elected the tangerine tyrant and won't do anything about it.

Dear Americans lecturing Europeans,

@alexwild Global fascist network birthed by international organized crime. It parallels crime organizations. -

24. End the dynastic wealth & trust fund money funding anti-democracy movements. Bradley can't be allowed to rule the nation from beyond the grave 60 years after he passed on.
24. Restore "Government for the people by the people."It is government's job to help its people thrive, not convert billionaires into trillionaires with taxpayers money.
@Npars01 get rid of limited liability corporations and make CEO’s and Directors personally liable for the harms they cause.

@mateitudor @alexwild Right; so what's the next step? Where are we going with this?
I'm fully on board with removing hard borders and decentralising power (while building and maintaining regional mutual-assistance networks). We need a plan to get there though, and I'm not a big enough thinker to map it out. Little help please?
@brad @mateitudor @alexwild Organize. Start building a network of mutual aid with the people around you.
It's slow and unglamorous.
Even if we succeed, you and I are unlikely to see the results, but perhaps the children of our children will. -

@alexwild that is exactly what gets us yelling. We are not having a good time. We are having a war at our borders and US politics is not helping.

@NatureMC @alexwild
Carney talks a good game. I even think he meant most of what he said. But at home he gutted the national climate change policy (prompting its architect to resign from Cabinet), is gutting the public service at the worst possible time. He is leaning hard into the Canadian petro-state, which in the end is a cog in the omnicidal machinery we're dealing with. He is putting in mechanisms that will allow the executive to circumvent established laws.@gueuledatmosphere I'm well aware of these problems, therefore I recommended the speech, not the man. The problem of our changing times is that we have no perfect, "god-like" politicians and no time to wait for them. So we have to work together about values and ideas ... and with non-perfect people speaking them out loud. And the world needs alliances outside the USA, well knowing that they are often not perfect. No country can exist isolated for long. Isolation costs a high price.

We do not yell at US-Americans. We warn about what might come to us, if we don't fight our fascists.
