ever feel like you need to apologize for getting angry, but then you're like...no I fucking don't! it's just conditioning from a toxic upbringing that taught me anger is from the devil. if that's true then hail fucking satan because I SHOULD be angry! and so should you!!!

@redsad woodworking, especially joinery work involves bashing chisels into wood with a club, very therapeutic.

Probably even better is blacksmithing if you're up for ironing out the setup. It's got burning stuff and hitting stuff in it.

I SO get this. Raised Roman Catholic in a family with a malignant narcissist father and alcoholic mother. Started with anger is evil, then decided I was the cause and needed to...heal...be exorcised...beat the devil out of me...

Anger triggers me. But lately it's so far away from what I survived that my anger feels right. Appropriate. Necessary. Motivational.
