The list of demands Senate Dems just put forward basically amount to what the law already says ICE has to do, and they just aren't doing.
He has an army at his back, and he is demanding NOTHING.
Furthermore, ICE is already supposed to be doing MOST OF THIS and is NOT, and NOBODY is punishing them. Can Dems ENFORCE any of this AFTER they agree to fund DHS? No.

@AnarchoNinaWrites@jorts.horse Oh look, an opportunity to call my senators (again) and tell them that Schumer's 'demands' are things they should already be doing and that instead they should demand Schumer resign from his position as minority leader.

@aud @AnarchoNinaWrites I took the opportunity to be less subtle about it - I said the DHS needs to be disbanded, ICE and the I&A abolished completely, Trump, Miller, and Noem should be sitting in a cell awaiting trial, and that I am encouraging anyone who will listen to me to participate in the national general strike, and grind the entire country to a halt until those are all true.
I doubt they'll listen to any of it, but, I'll continue to be a pain in their ass about it until the strike. -

Make sure they are *painfully aware* of the threat, make sure they *know* their constituents have heard about it and will participate if they do not respond appropriately.
Make sure they are stressed out, losing sleep, panicking to try to find a way out of this. -
