Minutes later, I was welcomed by @dillyd which has never happened on any other platform and was a wonderful introduction. So I posted a couple pictures of my #cats, and found, to my surprise, people reacting and interacting
Maybe it's because I'm not fighting an algorithm, or maybe I just found a place where folks truly appreciate cats. Either way, I'm very happy to be here, and I hope you're prepared for more cat pictures

@rufustheduck i think it is a combination of appreciation of pets and also people congregating who do seek something different from an o line network than the algorithm filled ones currently do.
