Dems are worthless.
We all see the fascist violence in the streets.
We will not be able to vote it out.

@artemis Yup. I yelled at my congresscritters again this morning. Fucking pathetic, but expected. Nothing but capitulation and empty words for decades from them.

And since ICE still isn't out of Minneapolis, Apollo asked me to share this site with y'all. If you are looking to help the folks in Minnesota, here are some ways you can.

@artemis We have to protest, vote, boycott, call, write. Keep fighting.
What elder do we do?
Roll over & lick boots? -
Part of the fascist project there literally is to cause *economic devastation*.
They destroy & steal things. They injure people, requiring them to get medical care. Many people will have long-term disabilities related to injuries received. They interrupt the lives of workers & the operations of businesses.
What Trump wants is to *crush* Minnesota. It's not going as planned. He's not getting what he thought he would out of this. But it's still brutal.
This is what they want for all of us. They literally want to trample anyone who doesn't fawn over them under their feet.
Let's continue to help & strengthen one another. Hard days are ahead.
But Minnesota isn't giving up, & neither are we.

I read one account a while back where a guy was describing getting wrestled down by a cop. (it wasn't even in the field, it was in a martial arts class and the dude just didn't like him). There was a nasty pop in his shoulder, and the cop hissed in his ear, "I just tore your labrum. You're going to need surgery in about 3 years." and then laughed and let him go.

@violetmadder
Oh, my god. That's obscene. Well, I guess brutality is a way of life, not a job. -

@artemis One caveat: it is going as planned.
The plan was to push and push and push until met by meaningful resistance. Then they back up a bit, establish all the previous pushing as a new normal, and get ready to launch the next wave.
It's the Cycle of Abuse. The solution is to recognize the honeymoon that's about to start for what it is and end the cycle.
