I've encountered a lot of very groovy people here. Some of them don't like mushy peas - but I'm trying not to hold it against them. I hope to meet more groovy people in the future

I think I had mushy peas like, once or twice in my life and must admit I wasn't a fan, but that's because I don't like cooked peas in general. Only when they're fresh from the garden

@rufustheduck@mastodon.social I spent some time in the USA, a long time ago now, and once took over British food that I thought would be interesting for them to try. But, I just could not get anyone to try mushy peas. For some reason the whole concept completely freaked them out. I even took mint source to go with it. But no.... weirdos...
