I was just noodling about how fandom-centric communities would do well on a Mastodon server - like cross between Tumblr and Discord.
I know Tumblr is supposed to be moving into the fediverse but I lost track of where they're at with that anyway.

@maj Know how I moved away from Discord? I just deleted it. It was easy; took like two seconds. Finito.

@maj @JustinDerrick Nowadays these verification apps make you move your face around, open and close your mouth, etc. on camera to prevent using a still photo. @OGjester Huh. I didn't think I needed to specify that people would want to retain their communities and lines of communication but glad it worked out for you.
