@evacide I tried pointing out that it rather defeats the purpose if you use a disappearing Signal message to send out a link to a Google doc, but I've been ignored so far

@evacide related: we’ve noticed metadata updates displayed in the chat (join requests, profile name changes, etc) don’t expire.
Probably the average person answer is set your desired alias before you join. Although since I have a bunch of chats, not just activist ones, that’s less practical.
