@mondstern for the repo, I guess it's time now to refer to @IzzyOnDroidOrg – "my baby" has grown, and I as its "parent" now can proudly watch its adult steps. The project will turn 10 in a month (first code commit). At that age, children are not constantly accompanied by their parents anymore
I, as proud "father", hope the project will survive me, should I one day be no longer able to maintain it. But I also hope that day won't come too soon 🤪

This includes e.g. apps for accessing most of the big so-called „AI“ platforms, having consumed large amounts of copyrighted work to be built – without compensation for, or even just consent by the respective creators."

@Thales_Curiosities @IzzyOnDroidOrg @IzzyOnDroid We are watching Google's plans and actions closely. Currently, a lot is still unclear.
Yes, these changes are worrying and Google may very well kill alternative app stores with this on most devices if they keep going the way they are but even if they do we will stick around to support degoogled devices and will keep fighting to be accessible as much as possible.

@iguana09863 @Thales_Curiosities @IzzyOnDroidOrg @IzzyOnDroid All devices we can keep supporting. As I said, a lot is still unclear, which sadly includes how exactly Google will be enforcing this and what workarounds may or may not be possible. There's some speculation but nothing confirmed yet.
