A county fired its entire library board for refusing to ban a trans children’s book

@transworld I *still* haven't found anyone who can explain to me how "book ban" can even be a concept in the land of the first amendment.

@TimWardCam @transworld That's easy, unfortunately: You may say everything, but not everywhere. The owners of the house make the rules. If you don't like them, you're free to go elsewhere. Make your own library - if you can.

It just sucks when there's nowhere else to go or you can’t afford it or no one wants to rent you a room or whatever.
